We are proud to announce that firm president, Howard K. Graves, is nominated a member of Pennsylvania�s State Architects Licensure Board. In this role, he and other members will serve to protect the health, safety and property of the people of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through the regulation of the practice and licensure of the architectural profession. Among its other functions, the Board promulgates standards of professional conduct and establishes rules and regulations for the examination of licensure applicants.
SouthSide Works Development is getting further enhanced through architecture design and dev elopement. Graves Design Group will design a new parking garage for this multi-purpose commercial and retail development by the Soffer Organization.
Graves Design Group, LLC. (GDG) was launched on January 1, 2009 as the successor firm to Graves Architects, Inc.(GAI). Both architecture design firms will continue to function indefinitely and GAI will continue servicing current projects and even take on new projects that require Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification. Once GDG qualifies, after 2 years in business, it will apply for certifications and further the succession from GAI. We are essentially the same people, at the same Pittsburgh location, offering the same excellent architecture design services. Only, Graves Design Group, LLC offers a more favorable business structure for future architectural design and development success.
Completion of UPMC�s Children�s Hospital Employee Parking Garage. In December, we were wrapping up this design-build project with Hunt Construction.
Work ramps up on the New Arena Parking Garage. The Pittsburgh Penguins are going to get their arena and our firm is helping make this happen. We are designing the new arena parking garage. This much anticipated project is now underway.
